Our Approach to Learning BJJ is really simple....

From the very beginning of RGA, Roger Gracie had had one goal in mind: Jiu-Jitsu for Life. For many years, we have offered classes for adults and kids that teach people of all backgrounds and skill levels the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Our structured curriculum is designed specifically to help you succeed during your training in the art of Jiu-Jitsu.

We offer a wide range of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in Bolton and the surrounding areas so students can choose the class that best suits their needs. We have three tiers of classes that address varying degrees of skill and knowledge. They are as follows:

Adult Program

Our adult Jiu-Jitsu programs are specifically designed with each student’s personal achievement in mind. Your personal goals, such as fitness or self-defence, will be taken into account when you sign up. Our self-defence classes for men and women are a great way to practice real-world techniques while strengthening your mind and body. RGA students see improvement not only athletically, but also mentally as they incorporate Gracie Barra’s proven principles into their lives.

Jiu-Jitsu classes at RGA Bolton are perfect for any adult in Bolton who wants to learn a new skill in a safe, challenging, and family friendly  environment. We offer programs for all skill levels, so you can choose to focus on the fundamentals of BJJ or train to get your Black Belt.

Kids and Teens Program

Children and teens of all skill levels and abilities will benefit from Jiu-Jitsu classes at Roger Gracie in Bolton. Our RGA Kids Program is designed to teach children self-discipline as well as providing a unique way to express themselves. Our instructors are trained to interact and offer gentle correction for children and teens who practice the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Children over the age of four can begin their training at any of our many Roger Gracie Academy Schools, experiencing the true power of brotherhood and integrity.

Our RGA Kids program is structured similarly to adult courses, with adaptations and modifications made to reach the different age ranges in the class. Jiu-Jitsu classes for children begin with the building blocks that are needed to teach the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. We have developed a curriculum that is structured in a way that shows children and teens the value of routine, cooperation and self-awareness.

Yoga and MMA Program

Yoga and MMA is our answer for students who want a challenging class focused on aerobic exercise and strength training. These classes are a Jiu-Jitsu inspired workout that promotes weight loss while increasing your overall fitness. These unique fitness programs is designed with the same principles and values we teach in our RGA Programs training. Due to their versatility and all-encompassing health benefits, Yoga for BJJ and MMA are recommended both for those currently practicing Jiu-Jitsu and also those who want to improve their physical well-being or transition into MMA.

MMA and Yoga are the perfect addition to your fitness routine because they involve ergonomically safe moves you will need to complete the class. Our instructors help students get both the mind and the body in shape so you can achieve more than you ever thought possible. Our Yoga and MMA classes are a natural addition to Jiu-Jitsu training and will help you build endurance and practice moves that can later be used in self-defence.
